It’s almost exactly two years since we reported that the Land Rover Freelander 2 had chalked up sales of 200,000 in its first three years (and 250k in March last year), and here we are two years later reporting sales hitting the 300,000 mark. Which is impressive.

Opel/ Vauxhall Zafira Tourer

Following on from its Geneva motoshow debut, Opel/ Vauxhall have announced that the Zafira Tourer is to head into production. Retaining much of the concept’s overall design, the new Zafira Tourer is heralded as a ‘quantum leap’ from its manufacturers. Roof leaks dampen Autorama

The Detroit Autorama was marred last weekend by a leaky roof that spilled salty, rusty water onto several custom cars. The leaks were caused by a combination of heavy precipitation--Detroit has had one of the snowiest winters in recent memory that gave way to an early March rainstorm--which pummeled an aging roof. Water fell to the show floor in six spots, temporarily damaging seven or eight cars.
